She says that for her, the organic is the animal and technology is related to the human. By bringing the two together she creates her monsters (her works)

We talked about the presence of her Bolivian culture in her work. She talked about the “Llatunka” and what a witch told her when she asked her what art was: “Art is everything”.

She rejects the “white cube” and feels that what comes from ancestral wisdom is often not validated or accepted in the art world in Europe.

She wants to show other realities, to “educate the eye”. That’s why she is fascinated by nature, insects, their colours, the different ways of seeing that exist...

“La chola matriarca”, the name of the next cumbia hit (joking). We talked about the role of women in her culture and how she reinterprets it in her work.
